A seductive female protagonist rests in a pastel-hued garden inhabited by naive black cats with butterfly wings and flowers with scents shaped as a wavy snake. This dreamy scene with naive flair captures the special magic of Korean artist Jang Koal’s creative universe. With The Silent Garden of Black Cats, her intention is to transport us to a reality where soft and furry creatures become calm figures that accompany us when our mind seeks tranquility. Her undeniable skill in the use of paint on ‘hanji’, a traditional Korean paper made from the inner bark of the mulberry tree, reflects her interest in exploration and discovery in life and in art. In this limited edition of prints, made exclusively for Limited by SOLO, the original work is transformed into a piece printed on high-quality paper, which perfectly captures the inner peace that the artwork conveys.
The frame is carefully selected by our team and assembled in an art specialist framing workshop.
These custom made frames are made of beechwood and oak wood. A natural or wengue finish is chosen by our curator, as well as its thickness –10 to 30 mm–, based on the needs of the artwork, as it is shown in the photographs.
Please, take into account that delivery time can be altered by the framing process, adding to the estimated delivery date between 4/7 working days.
